About Us

We are now looking for a Unit Manager for Maintenance Technology, a role where you can combine leadership, strategic responsibility, and technical reality to create the conditions necessary for our facilities to be operated, maintained, and developed with the highest quality every day. You will have a central position in the maintenance organization and lead both managers and specialists in work that directly impacts Ringhals' long-term availability, safety, and development.

About the Position

As a Unit Manager for Maintenance Technology, you will lead and develop a unit that works with technical maintenance support, program management, and strategic method development. You have a holistic perspective on the operations and create conditions for your managers and employees to succeed. As a manager of managers, you drive the unit's leaders and specialists towards common goals.

Your role includes:

  • developing maintenance processes and working methods
  • ensuring that central technical governing documents are handled and used correctly
  • maintaining and further developing Ringhals' programs for aging management and risk-based maintenance management
  • leading the work on environmental qualification of safety-classified components
  • supporting the operations in matters concerning outdated equipment in electricity, instrumentation, and mechanics
  • being responsible for quality management within the unit as well as for QC/quality
  • being responsible for property management within the unit's area

As Unit Manager for Maintenance Technology, you are also the staff manager for the maintenance organization, which means that you:

  • collaborate closely with several functions within Ringhals
  • represent the maintenance operations in strategic matters
  • participate in the management group for maintenance
  • drive common development issues that involve several units
  • keep track of and follow up on ongoing development initiatives

The role is broad and varied, with many contact points internally and externally, providing great opportunities to influence how Ringhals' long-term maintenance capability develops.

Requirements

Qualifications

To succeed in the role, we see that you have:

  • Engineering education (bachelor's or master's degree) or equivalent technical competence acquired through experience
  • Documented managerial experience
  • Experience from nuclear power or process industry is an advantage
  • Good ability to lead technically advanced operations and drive development
  • Very good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
  • Ability to analyze and handle complex technical, organizational, and safety-related issues
  • Experience of broad collaboration with many contact points, both internal and external

We are looking for someone who combines clear and secure leadership with technical understanding and who thrives in a role where long-term development and daily operational support go hand in hand. You create structure, act steadily in complex contexts, and find it easy to build relationships and drive collaboration.

Since the role involves many contact points within Ringhals and with Vattenfall centrally, suppliers, authorities, educational institutions, and industry organizations, your ability to collaborate and build trust is crucial. You need to be able to represent the operations professionally, navigate a complex stakeholder landscape, and contribute to a constructive and solution-oriented collaborative climate.
